cellphone and photo etiquette

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

We will be having an unplugged ceremony, meaning we kindly ask that you refrain from using phones, taking pictures, or recording videos during the ceremony. We want everyone to be fully present in the moment. This policy will be strictly enforced to ensure a seamless experience for all. After the ceremony and once cocktail hour begins, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like. Thank you for your understanding!

RSVP

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

We kindly ask that you RSVP online, as we are not accepting RSVPs by mail. Please use the link provided in your invitation to submit your response. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by March 26, 2026. This will help us finalize all the details and ensure everything is perfect. We’re excited to have you join us on our special day!

Directions, Transportation and Accommodations

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at The Chapel at Gruene. Address: 1671 FM306, New Braunfels, TX 78132. The ceremony will be held in an open air covered Chapel, while the reception will follow in a climate-controlled hall for your comfort.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

TBD

Wedding Dress Code

What is the dress code?

Dress Code: Formal Spring Garden Party. We invite our guests to dress in formal spring garden party attire. Ladies are encouraged to wear elegant dresses or separates in soft pastels, floral prints, or light, airy colors, paired with stylish shoes. Gentlemen are asked to wear a suit or dress slacks with a button-up shirt and tie, ideally in light colors that complement the spring theme. As the ceremony will be outdoors, we recommend dressing with the season in mind—light fabrics and layers that keep you both comfortable and elegant. For more details and inspiration on garden party attire, feel free to visit this website https://greenweddingshoes.com/garden-party-attire-dress-code/. We look forward to celebrating with you amidst the beauty of spring!

Plus-Ones and Children

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

To keep our celebration intimate, plus-ones are only extended to those whose invitations specifically mention a guest. We hope you understand, and we’re thrilled to celebrate with you!

Children are welcome to join us in celebrating our special day!

We kindly ask that young children not attend the ceremony, but they are more than welcome at the reception and party afterward. To make things easier, we will have professional babysitters onsite during the ceremony to care for little ones.

Menu and Dietary Restrictions

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

TBD

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

TBD. If you have any dietary needs, please let us know when RSVPing so we can accommodate you.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! The bar will be open—cheers!

Wedding Registry and Gifts

Could you give me a link to your wedding registry?

We’ve chosen not to have a traditional gift registry. Instead, if you’d like, you can contribute to our honeymoon fund to help make our dream trip a reality. You can find the honeymoon fund under the “Registry” tab on our wedding website. We truly appreciate your generosity and are grateful for your presence on our special day!

Wedding Weekend Itinerary

What's the wedding itinerary?

TBD.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Our ceremony will begin at 4:00pm. The doors to the venue will open one hour ahead at 3:00pm. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space and find a seat.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

A 90-minute cocktail hour will take place on the stone patio between the ceremony and reception where you can enjoy cocktails, mocktails, small bites and lawn games.
